With the daring motto of "Real Foodies Only", this year's Singapore Food Festival made a comeback by gathering some of Singapore's most diverse selections of food vendors and chefs for their Festival Village. Until the 11th of September, visit Marina Bay for good food and fun activities! With 29 stores up for your perusal, here are 3 vendors to try before the event ends!
1. Sourbombe Bakery
Foodies will remember Sourbombe Bakery from the news coverage they received last year due to their Masterchef Singapore runner-up owner Genevieve Lee. Known for their fluffy and creamy bomboloni donuts, Sourbombe Bakery will be bringing an SFF22 exclusive special. Featuring 6 new and festival exclusive flavours at $36/box, including chilli crab flavoured and avocado flavoured donuts, Sourbombe will be exploring a different palette from their usual sweeter fare.
2. The Proper Concepts Collective
Get ready to have your taste buds renewed by The Featherblade, RAPPU and MEZCLA's collaboration at the festival! Enjoy dishes inspired by local food like the Black Pepper Crab Tacos ($18/pair), Nasi Lemak Tacos ($16/pair) and Beef Rendang Sliders ($12/piece) for a truly unique experience.
3. Rempapa
Speaking of Masterchefs, one of the show's judges brings his restaurant to the festival! Taste familiar flavours turned new with Chef Damian's Chicken Curry with Golden Mantou (CCM) ($9/3 piece) and Meltdown Wings tossed in Sambal Tomato ($10/3 piece) gracing the festival. Want something a little sweeter to round off the meal? Get assorted Kueh at $10 for 4 pieces.
