🍰✨New cafes to visit in August for the aesthetic

On the hunt for new photo spots? Here are a list of cafes with gorgeous interiors and yummy food for you to discover!


1. 51 Tras - Minimalistic Korean-inspired Cafe

Located a stone's throw away from Tanjong Pagar MRT, 51 Tras is the new kid on the block joining the cafe scene in Singapore. With a beautifully decorated interior, inclusive of a skylight roof and art installations, the cafe exudes a minimalistic aesthetic. While you're there, be sure to spot the tree planted indoors amongst concrete blocks, a perfect spot for photos!

You may look forward to their extensive menu, ranging from cakes to pastries, and if you're looking for something more substantial, they serve a variety of mains as well! One of the noteworthy mains would be the Aburi Chee Cheong Fun ($14++), an elevated spin-off from the traditional dish known to all.

Visit the cafe for a relaxing and chill afternoon with your loved ones and have fun sampling the dishes there!

2. The Stack - Muslim-owned Cafe Serving Artisanal Sandos & Waffles

The Stack is a new and hip eatery located along the streets of Bras Basah, with an eye-catching store front that'll be hard to miss! Be sure to check out the interior as well, with its colourful purple and yellow furnishings and a variety of spots to dine at, such as beanbags and couches.

Satisfy your stomachs to your heart's content with artisanal sandos, waffles, and soft serves at The Stack!

From Pollo Avo Club ($13), a sando filled with smoked chicken and avocados, to Spam and Egg and Egg ($12), stuffed with spam, egg salad, and a runny egg, you'll be spoilt for choice with the array of sandos available.

Remember to leave some space for dessert as well! Try out their soft serve flavours of Brown Butter Kaya and Honey Cereal Milk at $6 each, and if you're not too full, add on their home-made waffles for just $3!

3. Fleurato - A Floral Fantasy Serving Artisanal Desserts

Take a trip down to Rendezvous Hotel to check out Fleurato, a new floral-themed cafe furnished tastefully with gorgeous flower arrangements! Specialising in serving artisanal desserts, this cafe is an ideal location for an elegant high tea. You may also purchase a flower bouquet at the florist shop located within the cafe for the gram!

Apart from waffles and gelato, Fleurato offers a high tea set for $38.90, which is perfect for sharing between groups of 2-3! You could also opt for sampling the other desserts available, such as their handmade pralines, cakes, and tea mocktails!
